When life gives you lemons, I say squeeze the hell out of them, mix in some sugar, stir, and make tasty lemonade. I am starting to think that is what life is all about...it is not what happens to us, but what we become from it all. I say that to remind you of this...creative indie companies like Golden Ticket Studios (GTS) were once a vision in someone's mind, much like the vision of the red solo cup filled with delicious lemonade you possibly while reading the beginning sentences. You may already have the understanding that it takes a whole lot of lemons to fill a glass of GTS proportions. Good things do not come easy, and more often than not they stem from a lot of little sour-ass fruits. Be encouraged and do not give up on your dreams. Who knows, you may even learn to enjoy lemons someday, especially the sour ones.
Most of our staff at Golden Ticket Studios reside in Shreveport Louisiana a.k.a. "Hollywood South." Owner Glen Grefe began Golden Ticket Studios because of his passion for independent film and desire to benefit the people and economy of Northwest Louisiana.
Golden Ticket Studios is a Benefit Corporation that produces high quality and valuable features series and commercial media in Louisiana. We work alongside other production companies as well as non-profits such as Alumni Arts Presents Film School (www.alumniartspresents.org). One of our primary goals is to provide support within the realms of education and economic development. We believe that a community-based values approach, one that includes cooperation, communication, and transparency, produces desirable results such as higher quality product, happier staff, and increased profits.
